These handcrafted soap decks are perfect to keep your natural soap dry between use and from sitting in a pool of water. Made from solid Western Red Cedar. Cedar wood is beautiful, naturally antimicrobial, and highly resistant to moisture and decay. It smells great too. No dyes or stains are used, just a light rubbing of organic beeswax and organic coconut oil is used after sanding. 

These soap decks are handcrafted so each one will have some variation in color and knots. They measure approximately 4" x 2.5" x .75".

Caring for Soap Deck:

Because these soap decks are natural wood, they will discolor some over their lifetime. A gentle scrubbing with a course wet cloth should be all you need to remove the natural patina they will acquire. If you notice some residue coming off, don't worry, it is not dye. Some cedar will emit a small amount of tannins as it fully cures. Tannins may slightly stain your dish, soap, or counter in the first few weeks. You can soak it in warm water and let it fully dry a few times if needed. It will go away naturally over time.
